General Information

COVID-19 disease is an additional risk and should not hide the other risks and the wearing of the other suitable personal protective equipment.
To protect yourself from COVID-19 disease, personal protective equipment PPEs, as masks, face shields, gloves, shall be worn in compliance with CERN working procedures and instructions for use.

The section leaders:
- must ensure that their activities follow CERN Instructions on COVID-19-related health and safety measures
- supply the COVID-19 PPEs to members of their section in accordance with their activities. Any request for PPE must therefore go through your section leader. He will also inform you where and how to collect your PPE according to the internal organization of each section.
The group leader and/or the Safety Linkperson of the group (contacts)
- centralizes the requests from the section leaders and orders PPEs from the CERN store. The PPEs will be delivered to the secretariat.

The group secretariat
- organizes the distribution of PPEs.
- collects empty bottles and manages their recycling through a internal transport request indicating as destination the 73-R-002.

In order to limit the ecological impact for waste disposal,
- a point for filling bottles with hydro-alcoholic solution is at your disposal at the entrance of the 866/R-B10 workshop.
- a collection point for empty bottles (dedicated box) is available in the secretariat (866/2-C04).
A waste bin is available at the entrance of building 866 to collect all used PPEs.
