Electronic lab for desoldering irradiated components bat.867.
Name of the area 0867-R-P45 (Ask access .edh).
MPE Responsible of the area : Sylvain Kaufmann (RSSO de la zone)(Sylvain.Kaufmann@cern.ch) and Betty Magnin (betty.magnin@cern.ch).
RP Responsible of the area Angelito Herve (Angelito.Herve@cern.ch).
IMPACT to work in the area (To ask to Sylvain).
The work area must always be clean and impeccable.

Dosimeter mandatory.
DMC advisable (ask to Angelito).
EPI (Equipements de Protection Individuels) dedicated to radiation protection are available in the wardrobe TE-EPC CP-05 (the key is in the key box at the lab 866-2A-01) :
- Gloves (SCEM : 50.43.20.080.3).
- Coat (SCEM : 50.43.90.302.3 ).
Mandatory hand foot control out of the building if the controller is available.

Tooling is available for work in layette equipmentTE-EPC WP-05 (the key is in the key box at the lab 866-2A-01), it is very well supplied but the material can be added if needed. In any case the equipment should be out of the area because it is regarded as radioactive.
Specialized equipment (pump desoldering, hot tweezers, desoldering iron for ICs, ...) is present but should only be used by MPE. A task schedule have to be done with Sylvain within a delay of a few days.

Radioactive waste have to be sorted on the shelf of the area: Metals, fuel and other.
