CERN does not differentiate between categories of personnel for radiation protection.
If the worker is classified as Category B by his employer, the annual limit is 6 mSv.
Only exception to the rule:
- Contractors with a limited term contract or employes working for temporary work agency should not access to areas where the dose rate reaches 2 mSv/h.
